HP computer problem please help!

I removed the memory sticks and now when I try to put them back the computer beeps. This is my son's computer and I need to fix it soon.I did not look at the memory sicks before I removed them so I am unsure if they are in the right location. One memory sick is a Samsung DDR 256mb. The other is a kingston KVR. KVR333/256R. The computer is a HP Pavilion A1200e. Thank you so much for your help!

Doesn't that motherboard only have 2 RAM slots?

It starts up regardless, it just beeps when it is on.There are 4 slots 2 blue 2 black. the monitor does not receive any output like it usually does. The fans start along with the but power light.

Yes, the Kingston, when plugged in, does not beep. The samsung stick makes it beep regardless where I plug it in. The kingston stick does not look like a normal ram stick.
