  1. Thanks for the quick reply...

one question: does the radeon 4650HD fit in my computer its an dell 8400.
  2. it will fit but your CPU will be a bottleneck as it is a pentium 4 http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/266130-15-bottleneck-pentium-hd4650
  3. so it will not work at all???
  4. It simply means that you won't be able to use the full power of you graphics card, because your CPU is not powerfull enough to handle it. It will work, but in my opinion, you'd pay for nothing. Unless you plan to change your CPU soon.
  5. ok.. then what graphic card can i buy to use its full power??

can i use 9500gt for its full power?
  6. Sorry for double post it wont let me edit...

Will it kill my computer if use the 4650??
  7. No it's wont kill your computer.
  8. if i buy 4650 will it still handle games such as CodMW2 on medium/high?

Will it kill my computer if i play too long? since its going to be a bottleneck.

Is it going to slow down my computer?

Please if you can write down cons and pros about me getting this card and what risk it will be to my computer i would be appreciatet.
  9. Well, there's absolutely NO risk whatsoever to you or your computer.
Here's a video that explains very well what bottlenecking is : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGdo75gasaQ
It's not going to slow down your computer.

Your graphics card should handle it at medium...barely. You might get a 15-20 fps. You have to understand, it's a fairly old card (from january 2009) and MW2 is kind of recent (less than 1 year, I think). If you still want this card, I'd go with this one : http://www.diamondmm.com/4650PE1GHP.php.

    Hope this helps !
  10. ok thanks. But whats the best graphic card to buy for gaming so i dont get botteneck.
  11. Your cpu is so old you'll struggle to play anything new at decent settings. Just go for the 4650.

$34 after mail in rebate and free shipping.

  12. No, you'll get a bottleneck. With the kind of CPU you have, it's almost impossible for you not to get a bottleneck.
  13. so you recommend the 4650?
  14. For $34 you aint gonna get anything better that's for sure.
  15. i'm so confused right now =P... if i buy the 4650 i wont have full power to play games...
if i buy 9500gt its not good enough as 4650...

how about POWERCOLOR Radeon HD3650 512MB?? i know its muuuuccch crapier but still i dont think it will bottleneck my computer and will it run games? such as codmw2?

or ASUS GeForce 210 PCIe 512MB Silent...

    Ageed - buy a 4650 for now.

  17. buy the hd 4650, your PC will bottleneck it but it will allow your PC to play games etc to the best of its ability without a CPU change
  18. Thank you guys for all your help... Just one more question :P :P

Are you 100% sure that it wont damage the computer if it is bottleneck? i've looked over the internet and found that some say its safe and other say it will kill it and shut down the computer sometimes whenever you play some games.

    (sorry for being annoying) :P

No, it doesn't harm your computer in anyway. Bottleneck simply means that the power of your card will be limited by the power of your cpu. Its just that your cpu will be working at its maximum capacity.
