I have been looking in to building a budget gaming PC.
So far i have determined everything but The MotherBoard.
I was wondering if there is a compatible motherboard for the items i have chosen, and if there is an affordable one  .

Please feel free to leave your opinions and feedback, anything helps :D

Thank You

I don't have a definite budget, but I want to know I'm getting performance for a great price. If I had to say the most I'm willing to spend on the MoB is around 150, but I'd rather keep it under 110 :)

This list contains all boards that use the most up to date chip set for AMD (and therefor the most features).

Gigabyte has the best rep, and I am pretty sure they can unlock cores.
ASrock is owned by ASUS, and their consumer line. I know they all unlock cores. I personally like ASRock, but some people have had problems with them.
MSI is the most discount board, and doesn't have as good a rep as either Giga or ASRock. They are still a pretty good manufacture of motherboards. I am not sure about if they unlock cores or not.

If you read a lot on the board you pick you should be able to determine if it can unlock cores or not. Sometimes they will call it core unlocking, sometimes ACC and in the case of ASRock UCC.

Thanks :)

I'm leaning towards the $109.99 MoB that you showed in the first link, but people are complaining about the sound card.I was wondering if you have ever had a problem with the Sound card, seeing as you prefer ASrock? My guess is that they had a faulty batch :??: . Other than that though, i think I've decided, thanks to you!

I initially had problems with the sound on my board, but downloaded and installed the latest drivers off their site. It seems to be working fine now. The sound still messes up a little when I use Speccy for some reason, but it did that with my last MB as well.
