    I think the 6850 and gtx 460 1 gig are both great choices and if you can spend a little bit more go for a gtx 470 or 6870. But for 200 or under the 460 and 6850 are your best choices imo.

    First off though what is the make and model of your psu?? so we can make sure these cards will run.
  3. for $200 +1 -> for the R6850 or GTX460 1GB...
  4. What PSU do you have, and at what resolution are you playing?

    Either the GTX 460 1gb or the HD 6850 are definitely the cards to look at.
  5. I don't know the brand of my psu, but its 680wts and My resolution would be 1600-1200.

    Thats is not good if its a no name psu, it will probly work but i would stick with a 6850 for its lower power consumption since your psu is suspect. Just because its say 680w doesnt mean anything without an efficiency rating, open your case and read the specs and the amperage on a 12v rail if you want to be sure but it will probly be decent enough to power your system + a 6850 if it can even deliver 500 watts, and I have seen more powerful systems run with less like the toms december 2010 500 dollar build
