Im wondering if my Galaxy GTX 460 1gb will interfere with my MSI 880GM-E41 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Im worried about the little silver (I mean the Southbridge) thing behind the PCI-e 2.0 x16 slot

If you already bought it, then there's nothing else to do but try it out.

It would be pretty unreasonable for MSI to make a mobo that has a heat sink that would interfere with a GPU. That just doesn't make sense, they'd get burned for it.

Anyway judging from the pics the heat sink looks pretty flush to the top of the PCIe slot, so clearance shouldn't be an issue.

Unfortunatley It has already been purchased. And I went with the galaxy because at the time of purchase it was cheaper than any other 1gb model.

Purple Stank: I could not find any measurements.

Would the GPU be raised slightly when plugged in?
