Dell dimension 5100 bios problem root 32

when i switch my computer on i have received the following messages, :root 32\hal.dll is missing or corrupt, : set up can not copy file: fsus.dll : NTLDR is missing, i also can not reboot my computer with my xp home disc, and i can not get in to the safety mode.
