Rampage III extream - Cpu indicator on red

i got a rampage III extreme and i have plugged only 2x4pin connectors, the problem is the PC wouldn't boot and the CPU light indicate in RED. Help

What is your PSU?

Make sure its in right.

Can u make a picture of it, close up of the 8pin plug?

Do u have it clipped in like the pic?

Does it turn the CPU fan ON?

Or any other fan?

sry abt the pic. anyw i got two 8 pin connections on the MB but i only got 1 2X4 pin connector. the MB turns on but can't get any display to monitor. all the fans r working fine

Check the CPU, make sure its sits in proper and nothing is bent.

it's a new build. no non of them r bend.
