but at 1st glance why the IDE DVDRW?
    AM3 dual channel so 2 x 2 or 2 x 4
    Samsung F3 1TB for hdd?

    1. For 70 dollars, you can get a better HDD than a WDC-Blue 640GB:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185 - Samsung HD103SJ ($65)
    2. Why IDE? It's 2011, get SATA!
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204
    3. 6-cores? Tell me, what do you use your systems for? If it's gaming then you should scrap the 1090T and save some dollars by opting for a good quad-core CPU like the 955.
    4. HD6950, nice. Here's something you may like to have a look at; http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/vidcard/159
  3. what do you recommend? I know nothing about hdd, and drives
  4. Following Omni's format.

    1. Samsung F3 1TB, best bang for the buck HDD.
    HDD guide: http://www.hdd-tool.com/hdd-basic/hard-drive-introduction-and-comparison.htm
    2. Do not get the H70, not a good price/performance cooler. Loud too, its fake water cooling. I hate H-series actually. Just personally. Get the Hyper 212+ it's a better price/performance. Plus I don't think your overclocking that much. You don't need a 50+ cooler.
    3. Get a SATA CD player.
    4. If you are kind of newb, you don't need that board. An Asrock 870 Extreme3 is good enough at 90$.
    5. Save the money go with a 955, no reason for a 965 or anything above a 955. Since they all are just version of the 955 with a higher clock or the 1055T with a higher clock.

Please fill out to the form Batchuka posted.

HDD = Hard-Disk Drive, more commonly known as just 'hard drive'.

I will use the cpu just for games like ArmA 2, OA, and so on. I wanted to get the best one they have. I will gake a look at the 955. It's the first time I want to purchase an ATi, and AMD products.
  7. That build is fine then, the 955 is good enough.
  8. ArmA2OA, yes that's a CPU-intense game. I also play that one, do you have XFire?
