Canon S900 or better?

This question is probably asked frequently, but I'm looking for a good quality printer for nice digital photos. Price range is up to $400 or so. Any ides?

Also, I was looking at the Canon S900 as it had great reviews, but since before Christmas I've been unable to find anyplace that has one in stock (well for below $400, the retail is like $300)! And now, Canon has even removed the printer from their website (in the view all printers)! What happened? Are they discontinuing the printer?
