Hello,
Which specs would be better for playing games at high settings:
1. -i7 CPU 3.2Ghz
-12GB RAM DDR3...6 to 8 is good
- nVidia GTX 275 (2x)...you can get a 560 or something like that.
-3TB hard drive

or 2.i7 920, 2.8 ghz
12 gb ddr3-1600
nvidia gtx 560 ti
1.5 TB hard drive (main) seagate caviar 7200 rpm, sata2
 
id agree, on going with the sandy bridge cpus, 2500k+ or 2600k+ the real advantage with the 2600k would be to make video encoding faster, but the 2500k is already mighty fast for that and gaming and all u can really want to do, and wont have performance issues with any of those 2 processors, and investing in a socket 1156 or 1366 at this point seems pointless , since u can get alot bang for ur bucks with the sandy bridge lineup ;)
