Fps problem with new build

Running swtor on max at about 60 -100 fps

Current build-
i7-2600k
EVGA 570 SOC
16 GB Corsair Vengence
Asus P67 Delxe
Corsair Proffessional 850w Psu
1 TB WD Black HD

But im tring to play company of heroes on max with directx 10 enabled and im only pullin 15-25 fps

My Asus g74 got 50-70 ? How does that make sense.. A laptop with a slower i7 and a waterdowned 560 beats the other rigg???

Are you playing at the same resoloution as the other rig? Also ther may be different settings in each rig's GPU settings (Nvidia control panel)

the laptop could only go up to 1600 x 900 but the hardware difference between the two should maake it equaly as good?

is there a setting you know of that could make or break your fps
