Motherboard and case

I've just started my build and I'm already having problems, my motherboard (Gigabyte MA770T-UD3) and case ( coolermaster elite 430 midi tower) wouldn't align when I go to screw them together. Only one of the screw holes align and the other don't, I checked before purchase if they were compatible and they are so could some one help?

so check place the motherboard w/ shield and see if the holes line up(look) make sure standoffs are the same height and that they are all in the right place. there will always be more holes then needed. So first put the mobo with shield in case to see if holes line up if they do get correct stand off then screw in all screws halfway and report to forum what happened
