PCIe 2.0 spec GPU card on a PCIe 1.1 spec slot !!

What happen if an XFX Radeon 4650 GPU which says it supports PCIe 2.0 specification but installed on a PCIe x16 slot with 1.1 specification? Does it harm the GPU or hinder its performance? Please explain. Thanks in advance.

Nope, 2.0 is backwards-compatible with 1.1
I've heard that 2.1 has issues with 1.1 tho... Not a problem for you tho.
