SO, I have had some help on this site and done what I have been told on how to fix my driver issues. I deleted the nVdia display drivers and installed the latest 10.12 catalyst drivers. When loading BFBC2, it will sometimes stop and tell me my drivers were not responding. I went into the device manager and it says that my card is in working order. I have a sapphire hd6850 toxic edition. If you need anymore information I would be happy to help.

Thanks in advance. :)

Disk? Do you mean the installation disk that came with the Graphics card?

I would prefer to download the 10.10e Hotfix directly from AMD.I also think that there is a 10.12a hotfix as well which you could try.

Okay, tomorrow I will try that. What is a hotfix? Sound helpful.

A hotfix is usually a small update that is aimed at resolving a particular set of issues.

Sometimes, just using the Windows uninstall and/or deleting the associated folders does not totally remove everything from the old driver set from the system files and may cause conflicts when switching from an nVidia to an AMD gpu.

To ensure the everything from the old driver set has been completely removed, use Driver Sweeper, then try re-installing the AMD drivers.

I did use driver sweeper, but I did not uninstall, download, and install again. I will try that. :)
