Right now I'm putting together my new machine and I've already hit a road block. I'm putting it together outside of the case and when I hooked it up to my monitor and power on I get no display. I've installed the CPU, memory, heat sink, power supply and video card. All the fans turn on when I power it on but there is no video display. I tried both an HDMI and a DVI out. Also, the Dr. Debug LEDs on my mother board don't light up. Any ideas on what's going on?
Motherboard: ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 2 GB DDR5 DL-DVI-I/SL-DVI-D/HDMI/DP PCI-Express
power supply: SeaSonic S12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V
memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (4 x 4GB)

I don't see mention of a HDD or SSD. The motherboard will not post without a drive attached, at least in my experience.
Try attaching a drive and see if that helps.

Maybe the on board graphics needs to be disabled ---I read that some where. --- before the add on will work...check it out.
