Asus M4A785TD-V EVO: Cannot Boot from USB

Alright, so I've used a number of programs including Memtest's USB Installer, HP's Utility, and rmprepusb. No matter what options I select, and how many tutorials I follow, the bios refuses to boot from USB. I hit F8, and the BIOS identifies the USB. However, when I select the USB, Windows just starts loading.

By the way, the BIOS is updated to the latest version. I'm trying to install Windows XP from a USB. When I use Qemu to boot from the USB, it works fine.

Well, it allows me to select the USB in my boot device priority. And it lets me see USB when I hit F8. I can also use EZ Flash which uses the USB Flash Drive. It even lets me emulate the USB flash drive as a CDROM, Floppy, ZIP, or hard disk.

Yes, without pressing F8, I could press USB first boot. And yes, I did accept the change in bios. Yes, my HDD does have an OS installed.

Don't worry about it. I'm just going to use Plop to boot from the CD drive, and then select to boot from USB from Plop.
