Dead Toshiba,Satellite,L305D

HELP. I was using the laptop when it suddenly quit (all lights out) and it won't power on with battery or with power cord. It seems dead as a doornail. If it was a desktop I'd say it was a dead power supply. Does this thing even have an power supply inside? What part might be repairable?

Crack it open and see if one of the soders towards the back broke off easy to see. or so what i would do take your .454 raging bull out and blow it back to hell.--

but really I have fixed like 2 laptops that had a circut that fused together or broke which would not let it start.
