My video card all of the sudden stopped working that I installed about 6 months ago. Someone told me I have to disable the onboard graphics card. How do I do this on WINDOWS 7? Thanks

What motherboard do you have? Are you sure it has onboard graphics? To disable it you need to read you motherboard manual and do it in the BIOS.

Look up your model online and see if you can find any information. The way to disable it is definitely in the BIOS. Look through the options and see if there is something titled integrated peripherals. It might be under that heading. Just browse through the bios. The option should be clearly labeled Onboard graphics or something similar. Just change that to disabled and you're done.
