HELP!

My laptop connects to a wireless connection, but it is always very low. I have friends who have the same laptop as me and they get connection fine at my house..whats wrong with mine? please help

Is the wireless adapter the same as on your friends' computers ? Is the wireless mode in the router's setup correct for your wireless adapter ?
