Hi there guys n gals!

I've been told i will and i wont bottleneck with my set up........

current set up
MOTHERBOARD: Dell Inc-0T568R A00
CPU: i7 860 @ 2.80GHz Stock
MEMORY: Kingston -8192MB (4X2GB) 1333MHZ DDR3
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 Single 1792Mb-OC (Stock cooling)
PSU: ? 350W
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit
HDD: ? -2TB(2X1TB) SATA RAID

I want to upgrade the gpu and psu to a 470 gtx and a corsair 600w

Will i bottleneck??

Your big problem is the power supply at 350 watts. For a GTX 470, you need about 550 watts to be safe.

With the other parts, you will be fine. That is one of the latest quad core processors with one of the latest generation video cards. They will pair together nicely.

sorry!
1280MB EVGA GTX 470 SC, 40nm, 3402MHz GDDR5, GPU 625MHz, Shader 1250MHz, 448 Cores, DL DVI/mHDMI
or gigabyte model

I'd be all about the MSI Twin Frozr II. But the Gigabyte with the custom cooler is a good choice too. With the 600W Corsair PSU you ordered you should be set to go! And as matto already stated, the i7-860 is no slouch. :)
