Got a new windows 7 laptop for Xmas

I can't play my old games on it. Says I need to get a 64 bit combility version. Can't I change the bit on my computer so I can play them

changing the 'bit' would require re-installing a 32-bit OS. no simple matter.

it should be much more straightforward. what games are you trying to play? most come a with a 64-bit luancher.

yeah what games are you playing because i have a 64 bit version ( desktop but it shouldn't matter) and i never have problems and the one or two times i did i just went on google ( your best friend) and found official or user made fixes... hope i helped
