DDR3 RAM reads wrong?

Hey community! I recently started building a computer and I'm running into a problem with the ram. I bought corsair vengeance 8gb (2x4) dual channel ram that's supposed to run at 1600 MHz. Under the bios though, it reads as 1333 MHz. Is there any way to fix this or is it just a misprint? Btw I have an asrock 970 extreme3 mobo. Thanks! ![:)]( ":)")

Alright thanks! One problem though is that I don't know how to do that. Do I have to manually set the voltage and everything or can I just set the ram speed and let the other settings auto adjust? I'm new to building computers so if there is a link or something you could refer me to, thatd be great!
Not recommended by all, but I would look at your bios for a Item that alows the memory to be detected using profile 1 - Check MB manaul.
Then Run memtest86 from a bootable CD to check for memory errors, should let run for about 6 hours.
