Compaq Armada 1560 ram

Hi,
my Compaq Armada 1560D has only 32 MB EDO Ram (2*16MB) 144pin SODIMM.
Therefore I tried to use 64MB (of 192MB) from my Siemens Mobile 710, but
this isn't recognized in the Compaq Armada.
The pinning itself is looking identical, both seem to have 144 pins.
The removable Compaq memory (16MB) on the othe side is recognized on the
Siemens Mobile.

Looking at ebay and other distributors I've seen the Compaq EDO rams
very expensive (around 60$ for 64MB).

Any advice for this problem?
