Hi all

I have a problem,a friend has a V20 laptop & had problems with the
Cd/Dvd rom,so he got a replacement.

All went well until he tried to remove the original Cd rom, it got
stck half way as he had the laptop upside down,he then forced it
out.

Now when he put the new Cd/rom in the laptop does not turn on
(or original)!

I have opened the laptop for him but cannot find anything obvious
wrong IE: Snaged cables,broken connectors ect.

I have the chance of getting a replcement motherboard for him,but dont
know if it will correct the problem as i build Pc's for myself not
laptops.

Can anyone give any info' to my problem?

Any help would be gladly appreciated.
