Advice about overclocking Corsair Value Select RAM

Hey, Im looking to try overclock my Corsair Value Select RAM, but not sure how to go about it. I have 2x4GB running in dual channel, at 1333MHz with a current timing of 9-9-9-24 (?). And advice would be awesome.

I would not recommend it since it will make no discernible difference in performance -- but if you want to anyway you will probably have to increase the voltage slightly and may have to relax the timings, which will unfortunately negate your improvements from running it faster.

Whatever u will get in the OC, u will never be able to tell the difference in real life.

Only benchmarks will show something, but nothing u will be able to ever notice.

I also would not bother with that grade of the RAM.

Ok cheers, despite no noticeable performance, will tightening the timings assist overclocking my CPU further?

Likely not, any tighter timings may require you to underclock your memory and may also require voltage closer to 10% above the specs. I would work on the cpu overclock and then address the memory later if you get close to a 1:1 ratio where that could enhance overclock stability.
