Hi everyone,
I'm really hoping to finalize a new computer build soon, but I'm really nervous about whether the CPU cooler and RAM will fit. The computer build/upgrade is as follows:
AMD Phenom II x6 1090T Black Edition Thuban 3.2GHz
Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B CPU Cooler
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
XFX HD-685X-ZNFC Radeon 6850 1GB 256-bit DDR5

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the RAM (w/ the heatsinks) would fit with this Motherboard and CPU Cooler. I've searched a lot but was unable to find any threads regarding this. Thanks in advance!

Mike

Based on their mounting method shown here http://www.prolimatech.com/en/products/detail.asp?id=15...
It should work since the cooler will not overhang the slots in that orientation.
