1400-1500 gaming rig build advice

So I can spend roughly 1400-1500 on a new build. This will be my first build and I have lined some pieces up on newegg I think would make for a pretty sweet deal. If you guys think I should replace anything or try to find a different piece instead that would be awesome if you could share that. Also, I dont know how to build a PC and I really dont want to mess anything up so I was considering taking it to best buy but I also heard they kind of suck at it and dont take responsibility if they break anything, is that true? and if so do you guys know anywhere else that will build it.

  1. These 1155 P67 boards are due to be on the shelves in the next 3-4 weeks. There are some benchmarks / reviews of these Sandy Bridge cpu's down towards the bottom of this post.

    Unlike the monitor you chose up above, the monitor in this build is an LED BackLit monitor with a quick 2ms response time. This build also includes dual factory o/c gtx 560's in SLI. If you need Window 7 just combo it with that Samsung h/d in this build to save $5.

  2. Hello sitdownson;
    How firm is that next few days schedule? Can you change it to a next few weeks for a pretty sweet upgrade?

    Thanks a lot, I'll definitely be taking a closer look into this build when I consider my options!
