I recently went to AT&T DSL but the DSL modem won’t recognize my Ethernet card. The cable is good. The wireless connection works fine? Please Help!

They're locking your MAC address on your wireless card. When you connect over the wire it has a different MAC address.
You can call them up and have them release the current MAC address and it will pick up the wired, but your wireless will not work.
Or you could purchase a wireless router, plug the modem in the router and have wire or wireless access.
