RUNNING XP PRO,THE PROBLEM IS IF I LOOK ATAFEW DIFFERENT ITEMS ON A WEB PAGE LIKE E-BAY ITS NOT LONG BEFORE MY ANTI-VIRUS AVG POPS UP A MESSAGE USING LARGE AMOUNTS OF MEMORY USUALLY 560 + MB'S & RECOMMENDS I CLOSE WEB PAGE & LEAVE THE INTERNET TO RECOVER MEMORY. I EMPTY MY TEMP FILES OFTEN INCLUDING IE EXPLORER WEB PAGE CACHE. IS THIS A SIGN OF BAD MEMORY OR A BUG IN XP PRO OR SOMETHING ELSE? ANY HELP OR ADVISE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. JRJ 1950

You don't have an issue. If those messages bother you, get a different antivirus application or configure AVG to stop popping up annoying messages.

AVG monitors applications memory utilization and it warns the user whenever it significantly increases. The warning can be disabled.
