I was wondering what the best graphics card is for 200- 220 MAX. I bought my PC from newegg about 2 years ago. The website for the computer is right here -- Direct link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This is my monitor its a Samsung 1650x1050 22inch Direct link = http://www.compusa.com/applications/searchtools/item-de...

What is the best graphics card I can use for this, I will buy the power supply and everything. The graphic card cant be over 220+ if there is a very good discount going on for Christmas please tell me. My e-mail is You can message me and add me whenever you want. Thank you for the help!

So what would be best for a game like Runescape, I wanna be able to run alot of bots during game play without lag. What I do is Play Rs, bot like 4 accounts then go on Cs and play CSS whats the best card for this kind of stuff?

I will buy the power supply also. The max i'll spend on graphics card is 220 tho. So if you guys can find a great one that can run multi 3rd games like runescape while I play CSS (Counter Strike Source). It would make me happy, also if you can list the power supply I need, As Tamz posted there is a PSU for 45 thats a 550. I can buy that if the graphics cards need more PSU. I can also buy another PSU it doesnt matter I basically get money from botting rs accounts so this is going to it. already got 220 bucks to spend for it..

For your resolution a GTX 460 would be excellent. This one is the best you can buy and a good deal;

It has very good and quiet cooling and is designed to be able to handle an extreme overclock. The power supply Tamz linked would be fine for it.
If you want something better this GTX 470 is $229 after the promo code($199 after mail in rebate);

However for your resolution I would recommend just getting the GTX 460. It will be really good and even better if you overclock it.

The GTX 470 I linked is faster and cheaper, both before and after rebate.

Your post was not what I was replaying to! You posted as I was replaying I was saying better than HD6850 or GTX460!

if you can, wait to around the end of january when the gtx560 is suppose to be released. This will be an upgraded 460. I got a 650W corsair PSU for $60 with the rebate recently so that's amazing quality for the price. Plus the prices of the 460 should drop a bit once it releases so i'd say wait less than a month if you can and see what your options are then.

The GTX 560 supposedly will be targeting the HD6950 which is a $300 card. You can wait if you want but I don't see the point. I doubt it's release will be particularly relevant to you or the cards within your budget.

Yeah, I wont be getting no 300 dollar card. No point, I perfer something good. Well, I like the deal you told me there Kyjjy, will it run good with my computer. I think the graphics card I have already is a 8' card. I think like 3 inch's can still fit in it. Whats the difference between the Talon attack one, and the Hawk one.

The "talon attack" card just has a higher factory overclock. I wouldn't pay more for it. You can and should overclock the card on your own. It's quite easy. It even comes with MSI Afterburner which the best overclocking software. Either version is 9.37" long.
For a PSU this 620w from Antec is just $50 with promo code EMCZNNT26 right now;

I suggest you get it before the deal is over.

i've read article after article about the gtx's price. some say 220 or so and some say 320 and everything inbetween. seems like people just grab a number out of their ass and throw it on the internet and that's the price of the 560.

And ?

You have read articles ? You mean forum posts, on a discussion board ?
Isn't that why we are here to discuss. The gtx 460 launched at 229.99 , thats the figure most reviewers used in their launch reviews.
If Nvidia followed suit with the gtx 470 to 570 both @ 349.99 and the gtx 480 to 580 both @ 500.00, things would be very exciting.

edit: One thing different. Nvidia had the gtx 465 @ 279.99 at launch.

no, i have read articles, i'm not going to sift through a forum board where anyone who thinks they know something can throw out a price. it won't be a $300 card; wanna know why? because it won't have the performance of what we would expect from a $300 dollar card. 10-20% performance boost or whatever it is over a 460. 460's can be gotten for $150 and MIR's now

I've read the available articles as well and I don't see how you came to those conclusions with any level of certainty much less being sure enough to make the statements you've made. It's at least going to match or beat the GTX 470 and come in between $250 and $300 I'd imagine.
