Costom Build Computer, No Monitor

Hello, I just build my first costum PC, as far as I can tell all the important parts are connected. The mother board is powered, the power supply, video card, and cpu cooler all seem to be working fine, we even figured out the extra LEDs on the case, but when I plug the monitor in to install the motherboard disk, when i turn it on there is no connection...
Whats the problem?

530W Modular LED Power Supply

What brand is your power supply? Have you tried the onboard video just for testing?

Are the fans on the 6850 spinning? And does it post beep?

Do you have the monitor plugged into the card or the motherboard? And did you try plugging it into the other one..?
