Hey guys I've got a question that's keeping me awake at night. I'm headed to Singapore in a couple of months to study for the next two years. I really want to bring my homebuilt desktop pc with me. I'm from the US, and unfortunately Singapore uses a different electrical set up than my country. I believe they use the same 220v set up in the United Kingdom. Now I know my XFX Black Edition P1-750B-CAG9 750W power supply I have in my rig is rated for 100-240v voltage. Does this mean its just the simple matter of putting on a converter or is my computer simply too big of an appliance to accomplish this safely? Are there any other products I could use to use my computer safely abroad?

Thanks a ton for you assistance in this matter.

Your psu has Active PFC which safely adjusts your psu to run on any voltage worlwide.
The only thing you'll have to do is buy the appropriate psu power cable for Singapore's standard wall receptacle.
Readily available at any electronics store there.
The British Standards 1363 plug Type G if i'm not mistaken.

Yes, your PSU will work properly overseas. Some PSUs have a switch and some PSUs auto-switch to the correct input. Not sure which one your PSU has. Regardless, only thing you'd need to do is buy a plug converter or power cord with the correct connection and the PC will work fine. Double check your monitor though and any accessories you may have.

Words of advice from someone who has also lived overseas. LAPTOP; if you have the money as moving is a pain with a bunch of stuff.
