Just put together my new costum computer, everything seems hooked up, the motherboard is powered, the power supply fan, cpu fan, and video card fan all run smoothly, i even figured out the cases extra LEDs. But when I plug in the monitor so i can install the mother board disk, there is no connection...
Whats the problem?

So I'm assuming you're using a DVI/VGA/HDMI port connecting the graphic card to the monitor? Make sure you're not connecting it to the onboard video.

You could try disconnecting the graphic card and using the onboard video to see if the card is faulty. Swap cables if you have extra.
