Planning to upgrade to NZXT Phantom, and possibly Sandy Bridge CPU

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg.com, USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: Doesn't Matter, though, i do not wish to throw away my GTX 275, as I want more than one moniter support via HDTV/Component Cable (THIS CAN BE OMITTED THOUGH, a local store sells VGA to HDTV Cable). Hopefully that (NVidia)doesn't conflict with ATI drivers. The only reason I would throw the GTX 275 away is if the 6950 XFire is worth the upgrade.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: IF my performance will reach higher at a lower cost

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would appreciate if all games ran at high or near high settings. And is a dedicated PhysX card worth it?Obviously, I want Directx11 support, I mean my laptop (Alienware M17x/XFire 5870M/Core i7 720QM) is technically better than my desktop right now.

More about upgrade
  1. GTX570 or HD6970!
  2. Which will be better for my system?
  3. Since your motherboard supports both SLI and CF they are equally good but you can look at the games you play and see which one performs over all better. Then again eyefinity is an option with the HD6970 and 3dvision with the GTX570.
