Hello im new to this forum so sorry if this isnt the right place for this, but i need some expert help getting my final build together.

I had already done a post on a different forum but replys stopped in the middle of a debate about new tech comming out soonish

Anyway, i have a budget of around 2K euro, going over slightly would be no problem, as long as its increases the lifetime of the system somewhat . I`ll show you what i had in mind after some of the feedback i had gotten on the last forum, and i wanna ask you guys to tell me what you think and if the concerns i have are solid or unneeded.

BTW the forum post im talking about is this one, feel free to read it trough if you wish.

The shop i`ll be buying at is viewable at norrod.nl. They might not be the best but its the only decent computer shop around here.

Corsair Air A50 cooler
Corsair Dom D3 1600 12GB K CL9
Crucial RealSSD C300 64GB (S3)
Asus P8P67 Deluxe s1155
Intel Core i7 2600K s1155
Club3D GeForce GTX 570 1.2GB or GTX 580 1.5 GB

Thats the last system i had in mind. Not sure about alot of things.. like video card, the memory amounts and type.. the SSD drive if its needed and the size if it is... Coolers and the casing. powersupply enough? I think the processor is good, and i didnt have any other MB options i think

With that system i think there was still some room in the budget to get some upgrades going. Anyway feel free to comment on anything you please. Different processor brand or vidcard, all is fine. im not loyal to anything, i just want a system to last my a few years with , at least in the start, max setting gameplay

Thank you for your time and i hope to see some replies :)

Btw one of the reasons i posted this was because in the other thread someone said there were new MB's or chips coming out, not sure what... anyone know if there is a good reason to wait for anything? I can wait a bit, but if its in a few months i guess i`ll just take my chances.

The "fixed 1155 motherboards" should be hitting the shelves in the next 3 - 4 weeks. Very much worth waiting for. What country are you in ?

Im from the Netherlands. 3-4 weeks seems doable for me. What exactly are they fixing? Are they unusable atm or.. i guess i might have ot search myself, i cant expect people to answer everything :p

Aah i see thanks :) So any idea on my rig? Should i just wait for the new boards and go with the rest? Or are there things to improve on?

It looks good to me...although I might change the hard drive to a 1tb WD black on that build. Do you have any links to Netherland computer retailers that I could look at ?

I will post a build on here using "komplett" in Germany. They used to ship to Netherlands...I think they still do.

Some people told me getting the 580 video card is a bad move because you would get more vallue/cash for getting 2 video cards running together. I`m not really experienced with such setups so i am quite doubtful about getting that, but would it be the far better move?

Or would there be ways/reasons where the 580 is better overall?

Also would the brand of memory really matter? I just picked one as i know Corsair is at least a decent brand. And 12 gigs seems ok. Someone told me i should run 3X4 for the setup i want because it wouldnt work as wel using only 2 larger sticks.

And for some reason i cant edit my own messages or delete them. Says im not authorized :/

=) Thanks alot, again

Question though.. People have been telling me that for "that" kind of money you get a good rig, but not "high end". So i am wondering, is there anything that can really go above and beyond that what you build?

As i mentioned my budget is 2kish so 750 over what you build. I see you used SLI so i guess thats the way to go and i`ll keep that in mind for sure

But i see you build only 4 gigs mem (which might be enough now but will it be later?) and the CPU wouldnt the 2600k bring more to the table?

Anyway thanks for the time you took and i guess i`ll have to start thinking for myself because im getting quite a bit of mixed responses and it seems impossible to build a computer for 2000 :p

The few 8 gig memory kits that site had were way over priced. But 8 gigs would be the way to go, and a modular psu. I will edit that build up above with 8 gigs of RAM, a better power supply, cpu cooler, and with a 2600K. :)

Thanks again. Well i guess i pretty much know what to build then. Not sure how that SLI stuff is gonna work out as ive only ever had single cards before. Guessing it would strain the psu more and perhaps more heat.. Guess i needa look into some fans and a decent case

Would still be some money left after that i guess but if i already got a high end system at that point i guess i saved some :p

Take a look at that build up above now please. And the reason I put two gtx 560's in my builds on here is for the fact most people do not get a second card later on even if they plan on doing so. The reason for this is that by the time they think of adding a second card there is usually a new line of video cards that are much faster, better....etc.. gtx 560 SLI > gtx 580. I would be curious if that company ( http://www.hoh.de ), ships to Netherlands. If so that build up above will last you a very long time I think.

Ugh german.. Wish i had payed some attention in school. I`ll try and find out if they deliver out here, but i dont really like dealing with stores outside my "reach". My local store doesnt even mention that MB though so i might be out of luck if i wanted to keep it local

Thanks for all the time you put in this
