Hi,

So here's the thing, I have noticed that after the nights sleep PC will not turn on immediately when I press the Power button. When I press it it just blinks 1-3 times and ticks gently on every blink, just like you tried to start car's engine in the winter and it just wouldn't let you! :D But, however, after a some set of time, probably a minute or so, when I just keep pressing the damn button, it turns on as it should.

The question is, what could be wrong with the Power button/PSU, I just assume it could be issue with PSU, but I am not sure. Is housewiring something to do with it?

Thanks in advance.

If theres an audible click, Theres most likely an issue with the power supply,
power switches can not really go wrong, they work, or dont
if you are comfortable with taking the pc to bits, you can test the psu by shorting two pins on the 20+4 plug with a paperclip, this should switch it on but will not indicate any actual problems with the unit
assuming that works, and you still cant get the pc to switch on, I'd either replace the psu or have it looked at by a professional
