it now does not work,I just purchased that card. it said hdcp compliant,now it says not supported?

Have you uninstalled the drivers for the old video card.?
Did you install new drivers for the new video card?

Complete sentences are always nice to read in these forums. :( 

You probably need to completely uninstall any old video card drivers (both nVidia and ATI). Then reboot, and then install the latest nVidia drivers for the new GT240.
