BUF Beam up fuel?

Some ppl said it was not working in 2004.

#1 Does BUF work now with latest host 193 ?

#1A If yes how much fuel ? (full tank ,25%)

And for the other command codes do they ALL work ?

#2 Any other command codes missing ?

#3 Any special tips, or do and don't with those codes.

If there are some issues Race related, I'm playing Empire, and Rebel for
now.

Lord Lancelot

Ship command codes (VGAP3 players note: not Friendly Codes), help speed up
micromanagement:
Transfer takes place after movement. The transfer is from a ship to a base
that you own.
The codes only work for ships that end their movement over a base:

BDF: Beam down fuel (All but 60kt)

BUN Beam Up Neutronium (fuel)
BUG beam up food (BUF, BDF were already used for Fuel)
BDG beam down food
BDM: Beam down metals and money
BDA: Unload all guests and cargo except Ordnance
ORD or BUO orders the ship to beam up ord units from any base under the ship
that you own or has a matching friendly code.
BDO Beam Down Ord (all but 500)
NCH: Any ship with this code will not enter a warp chunnel or Jump via a
jump point
BDP moves troops, colonists, highguard and money to the planet's surface
BUS Beam up supplies
BDS beam down supplies
BUC beam up cash
BDC beam down cash
BUR Beam Up Repair units
BDP Beam down people and money; useful for Cyborgs when using their
Assimilation Beams; also moves troops and highguard for non Borg.
RFD RFT RFM RFS can be used by Fuel Refinery ships to control what goods
will be used to make fuel
JOE can be used by a ship with a Jump Point Generator to ensure that only
escorting ships and wings will jump with the ship.
JOE command code on a chunnel ship stops undocked pods from leaving with the
ship.
BDS beam down supplies
BUM Beam up Metal
NOT stops training of troops on Colonies of Man ships
WPF causes the waypoint to be used instead of the escort target for
movement. If the ship has no waypoint set then the escort target is used
instead.
WPP (Waypoint Priority) causes ships to go to their waypoint before going to
their intercept target or escort target. The ship will switch to the
intercept
or escort target as soon as waypoint is reached. A ship can move to a
waypoint and then move in an intercept course during the same turn.
REC: recharge a minefield within 200LY with fresh ord instead of dropping a
new field. The type of minefield will be the type the ship is set to drop.
LSD: for Virgos: overrides lightspeed auto cut off so you can burn lots of
fuel and go very short distances or nowhere at all.
It also allows you to intercept or escort at light speed ships that begin
the turn right next to you. If you do not use the LSD code your light speed
will cut off if your waypoint is set to a distance less than 50 LY, because
your ship thinks it is silly to burn all that fuel just to move 50 LY.

Base Command Codes:

TNT - you can destroy a base by setting the command code of the base to TNT.
This requires that a ship be in orbit and no colonists on the base.
GBA - Give Base Away. Your base will be given to any other race with a base
on the planet. It will go to any friends you have first,
if you have no friends it will be given to your enemy. All your assault
units, fighters, special race buildings, colonists, crew, troops and high
guard will vanish.
EPA - causes the base to destroy all smelters and mines. (Curiously similar
to the American Environmental Protection Agency.)
USA - removes labor camps and labor mines from the base.
CIA wipes alien hull plans
DOC destroys old cities, causes all cites to be destroyed. (Not undercities
though.)
NOG stops base gathering stuff from the planet
ATF removes cantinas

BUN works for me and if I remember right the last time I used BUF it
beamed up Food instead of fuel.

All fuel which fits in the tanks are beamed up, if the Base have enough,
otherwise all which is on the Base.

Correct.

BUF/BDF was changed from fuel to food some time ago, BUN/BDN works now for
fuel

I'm not sure about BDA and the guests, IIRR it beamed down guests too and
that's the reason that I seldom used it.

The rest seems me correct.

You can try a look at http://www.vgap4-info.org.uk/VGAP4-Int/acronyms.htm
there are several CC listed in the tabel too.

The rest seems me correct.

Thanks JoSch ! Now I'll have to go and check it's all up to date! 8)

Also...
He doesn't seem to have posted here (?) , but on the VGAP4 Mailing List
"Osgoroth" has stated

quote
"
After seeing that a lot of people asks if there is somewhere an updated list
of Command Codes and no one finds one, I've decided to create a small site
with all those CC's and try to keep it up to date.
I'd also appreciate any comments from you reporting any bug or something
that I could have missed.
Until the moment, the list of CC's is translated in three languages (I've
nothing better to do) :) English, Castellano (Spanish) and Català (Catalan).
If you want to have the list translated in your own language send me a copy
of the list and then I'll create it.

The link is www.planets4stuff.tk

Cheers,
Osgoroth
"
end quote

This looks like a pretty good initiative. I'm all in favour of translation
too, but VGAP4 International is really for "beginner stuff" only - CC's are
for big boys (and girls!). Erm.

Cheers

Nothing to thanks, so you have no a reason to check it, so that it is no
outdated ;-)).
(IIRR I have posted sometimes your links before here.)

Thanks for the new link (for me, don't read the mailing list), will visit
it in next time.

Bye-Bye JoSch.
