Zalman z7 Plus Yay or nay?!!!

Hi everyone,

I have currently got a cm690 original one, got lots of scratches and bruses. Saw the Zalman Z7 on special and thought i should invest!
Good idea or not?

Quite a decent systyem you have there, i dont think the Zalman would offer you any better cooling than the CM, in fact maybe even worse cooling, give me your case budget and ill see what i can recommend.

If your on a budget a far better choice would be Cooler Master HAF 912 Plus Case.

don't really have a budget just checking out specials, i can get the Zalman z7 for £44,99 so i mean its a bargain in my eyes! and yes i love the HAF wouldn't mind having it!

But yeah thanks a lot for your response, its persuading me a lot to actually go for cooler master again!

Trust me on this for the extra £15 it has far superior quite cooling at stock much better expansion capabilities and is a really good case to build a system into because of all the cable routing holes, i use this to build mid range to high end gaming systems for people all the time.

£15 = 2 or 3 pints down the pub followed by a chippy supper, save it and get the HAF.

I think the 690 is a better case then the 912.
You can refurb your 690 with parts btw.
Front panel,top panel,right side panel,windowed panel,etc..

haha true true, Im actually kind of over the 690, think im gna get the haf. friend says he can get Haf 922 for cheap. maby that would be better i guess?

Well 922 is also good if you can get it cheap do it.
