Neep CPU upgrade suggestions.

I currently have Compaq SR1750NX computer. It has a "ASUS Amberine M" motherboard with a "AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Venice" processor. I am looking to upgrade the CPU. I need suggestions. HP/Compaq support says it allows these CPU's:
Supports the following processors:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
Athlon 64 4000+
AMD Sempron 3200+
Since I am currently using a 3500+ it obviously supports other processors too. Can anyone help me find processor to upgrade to.
