5670 on 300w PSU

You'll be fine. The HD 5670 doesn't consume more than 30w of power under normal gaming conditions. If you were to use a FurMark to stress your card then it would probably go up to 40w - 45w. Overall your PC doesn't really use much power.


Additionally, do not bother getting the 1GB version since the 512MB of RAM does not improve performance (see review below):

Thanks i keep worrying about the amps everyone says thats most important but seeing as how my system doesn't use much power I guess there is room for the GPU. Btw howmuch amps is used by everything but the cpu and gpu?

I have a Dell Optiplex 980 with a 305 watt power supply. Dropped an XFX HD-567X-ZNF3 Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit DDR5 into it. It's been 6 weeks and no issues.
