i want to buy a motherboard which supports DDR3 RAM. what are the different motherboards available in market which are in the range of Rs.3000-4000..also suggest a processor which is economical...

if you want an option to upgrade to future cpus without switching your board, then intel h61 chipset board (for rs 3000) + g860 cpu (rs 4000) or g620 cpu (rs 3000)

if you do a litle bit of gaming then amd a8-3870k apu + a75 or a55 chipset board.

Or if you want a pure cpu setup, then amd am3 board (rs 2000-3000) + amd phenom2 x3 740be cpu (rs 3500)

you can always do some market research.
