Question on FSB with MoBo

Hi im looking to buy ASRock A770DE+ AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard. However the FSB says it can only clock at 2.6ghz cpu and I am planning to buy a 3.1 ghz amd cpu quad core. Would I not be able to get 3.1ghz speed from my cpu?

Go by the cpu support list for your board: http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=A770DE%2b. The 645 should run fine (and overclock some), and is old enough that the board bios file should work. This cpu would do better than the propus when overclocked: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103940 along with this heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103075
