HI, Ive just ordered a EVGA gts 250 1gb graphics card for my computer and I would like to know if I need a better CPU to run games more efficiently. Ive heard that the CPU doesnt really matter but RAM can sometimes matter. My CPU is Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2180 @ 2.00Ghz 2.00ghz (Does the 2.00Ghz really matter? It used to be 2.60Ghz, I don't know what happened)
Also i have 4 Gbs of RAM and can add more with Ready-boost if the rare occasion ever occurs.

Hi, if you are only upgrading then it would be easier to just wait and see.

As to your clock speed, you can pop into your bios and check to see if speedstep or other clock reducing options are enabled.

Really, no one can tell you if you will need an upgrade other than you, so play your games and check before spending any money. If you have trouble running games and lowering graphics settings doesn't help then it will be your cpu, until you experience problems, best leave it alone.
