Well, don't let it to get low.
I would resize the C:\ to smaller 80GB partition and move all non system items off the C:\ drive.
It will be easy to keep it defrageed and it will not take that much time to defrag. In case of corrupted system data, u can simply re-install the windows and loose no data.
