Updating BIOS Without Monitor?

I'm not getting any display after building a new PC. The video card works in another PC, so it's not that. I just read on the Gigabyte website that you need to update the BIOS in order to use FX-series cards. Would this prevent me from getting a video signal to the monitor, or no? If so, how am I supposed to flash the BIOS without the display?

No, unless something would go wrong, but than u can always clear the CMOS.
