A few have said AMD's new 9xx series chipsets look rather suspiciously like rebadged 890 series chipsets, with perhaps a new BIOS, and, certified to work with BD when it arrives.

If a 890 chipset is placed on a mobo with a AM3+ socket, one that has the proper amount of activated pins, it will work with BD. The 9 series is a 890 rebadged but the socket is whats truly different.
