GPU upgrade issue

I just upgrade my GPU from a GTX 285 to a GTX 570!

I've played COD Blk OPS online for a while with my GTX 285 with no problems! But now since I installed the GTX 570 it lags in and out! It was running great then all of the sudden i get slow motion lag. It is weird because i join a server it lags then its fine, then after awhile I will get lag again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Samsung 1tb Sata & 300gb Sata
Corsair 850tx power supply

EVGA GTX570
BENQ 24" LED monitor

thanks,

  1. Did you uninstall the drivers before taking the gtx285 out then put the gtx570 in and install the newest ones?

Yes, I uninstalled the drivers for the GTX 285 before I installed the new ones for the GTX570! Maybe I missed something! Is there some other GPU drivers that may not have been uninstalled?

Uninstall your current drivers then download and install Driver Sweeper and run it under safe mode to wipe every single file related to nvidia in your HDD, then reboot and install the newest drivers again.

    Unfortuantely it did not work!

    This what happened..

EVGA website.......The website only shows a driver for the GTX580! When I install that driver..it says,
"Install cannot continue..... This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware".

    Any other suggestions??
