Think MB was DOA on first build. what are your suggestions on new one?

so after putting my first pc together i couldn't get it to post and wasnt getting any beeps from mobo although all fans were spinning. even tried out only hooking up cpu and heatsink and still no beeps from mobo. after reading reviews from my psu, cpu, and mobo i am relatively sure the problem is my mobo. i think i will try returning it for another one just like it first to see how that goes. is this a painful process through newegg? anyways if that doesn't work out i will pick a new mobo. what are you suggestions?

local gigaparts store diagnosed as bent pins on cpu and fixed it for no additional charge. on computer now
