The sound went on my dell inspiron 1750 laptop

Hello, a buzzing noise came on when i was watching a video and since then the sound is not working at all in itunes or internet or anything? help

The driver may be corrupted. First try disabling the audio in Device Manager, and then re-starting the computer.

If that does not solve the problem, go to 'support.dell.com' and enter the service tag number. Download the appropriate driver. Follow instructions on the screen.
